Soft, clean, and calming—Potomac Shore Orchid is your quiet waterside exhale. Inspired by the Potomac’s tidal shores, this fragrance blends airy sea salt with gentle orchid bloom for a soothing, spa-like atmosphere that still feels distinctly Virginia.

Why “sea salt”? The Potomac is primarily freshwater, but its lower, tidal reaches are brackish—a natural mix of fresh and salty water as the river flows into the Chesapeake Bay estuary. Upstream is freshwater; downstream grows progressively saltier with the tide, which is why coastal “sea salt” notes evoke the Potomac’s shoreline.

Every purchase has purpose: 100% of proceeds support Goose Creek Association’s work to improve Goose Creek and its tributaries—waters that ultimately flow to the Potomac—through restoration, monitoring, and education.

A Virginia-rooted tribute

Forests and wetlands across the Potomac watershed shelter understated native orchids—like the woodland cranefly orchid (Tipularia discolor) and the evergreen downy rattlesnake plantain (Goodyera pubescens)—quiet indicators of healthy forests that feed healthy streams. This candle nods to those blooms and the living river they depend on.
